One thousand samples imaged

In the course of this spring the trainees of Digitarium have become familiar with imaging plant and insect samples and entering their collecting metadata. An important milestone was reached in the beginning of May when the one thousandth sample was photographed. The imaged samples include the spring species common hepatica (Hepatica nobilis) and brimstone butterfly (Gonepteryx rhamni).

Common hepatica

These photographs of the common hepatica ja brimstone can be examined in detail at Digitarium's new Morphbank-service.
